FSX Default Lear out of TNCM.

[center][i]Well allot of talk going on about this new simulator over in the FSX Forum.
If you are keeping tabs, many positive and many negative. Like I have said, I will be waiting for DX-10 & Vista to come out before I really dive into FSX. For now, I will try to tweak and upgrade my hardware slowly. Here are my first shots of FSX!
I guess I will be back in the "Freeware Forum" a bit more

Hmmmm

Doesn't work very well on your machine does it. Serves you right  :P

(Punches computer screen, kicks the cat so hard he gets a hernia and stomps off to check the dwindling bank balance yet again....wife hears and shouts 'Don't you even THINK about spending any money on your flipping computer ......  ??? )

These are the first shots I've seen where the sea looks like the sea!!!!

PS But one never sees the light turquoise blue anywhere except the tropics or the Med (out at sea away from land The Med is a wonderful deep blue. Homer (not from the Simpsons!!!) described it in the Oddysey as "The wine dark sea" A wonderful expression!!). Elsewhere it's greeny grey. Does FSX do that too?

No wonder, Volo. The only REAL graphic betterment in FSX at this very moment is the water (a quantum leap, compared to the smurf-piss default waters of FS9).

What there is beside the water has not followed the leap in quality. Better is, but not as much.

Cool-o. I've decided the only reason I'll ever go full-time with FSX is the water. It looks great!  ;D

Actually Real Environment's water is quite nice. I like it, at least, even if a lot of people seems to not appreciate it. Yes, it's not the same as FSX water, but seen the limitations of the poorer rendering engine of FS9 (more poor than the already not great rendering engine of FSX), it's a good enough substitute.

Great Set....the best fsX shots at the moment....I will upgrade my system soon....an entyre new system....I wonder if the GeForce7900GT 256bits 512mb will handle FSX fluid as fs9 was in your actual system... ???
And as well Vista and full directxX features.....
A wise decision is to wait ::) ??? 8)
