Landing the Monster

Postby fabiane » Wed Nov 01, 2006 2:17 pm

Hi guys,
did quite a lot of flying today. We had a holiday today 8).
I think she isn't so ugly as a lot of people try to tell you. And as an European tax payer I'm hoping for her success. Seen here landing Toulose.
Greetings,
Fabian

It's not really scenery. It's an AFCAD file and a Flightplan + lots of Airbuses by FSP.

You can get all in one pack at:
http://projets.fsfrance.com/PAI/PAI.htm

I guess landing in Insbruck isn't a problem - That beast can approach at 139 Knots with full flaps, so I guess no problem for length of the runway. But the problem would be taking of again with fuel. And there's the parking problem. Why not arm it with some SUV like protection and head for the GA parking with full throttle? Should work...

Greetings, have a nice day,
Fabian

sorry, maybe my fault. I only know for sure they're doning a DC-8 with VC.
For the other ones I can't tell you, but if your french is as good as mine :P try their forum:
http://fsfranceapp.free.fr/forum/viewforum.php?f=32
The preview pics are very promising, they've got a lot of new thing at the start.

The A380 will only have the thrust reversers on 2 engines as in real life and I'm especially looking forward to the 748i.
Hope that helped,
Greetings,
Fabian

That first shot is the first time I have ever thought the A380 looks good.

it is physically quite ugly, but the idea behind it is beautiful because this aircraft represents the next generation of air travel.

;DI Can just imagine Major Charles Emerson Winchester III defending this aircraft with his sophisicated philosophical speech  ;D (Any M*A*S*H fan will understand that)

Truely wonderful views of this Very Beautiful Ugly Duckling  ;D #1 is my fave XD

4 engines FTW

Sorry, I meant that on the upcoming model the thrust reversers will only work on 2 engines of the 4 as it is in real life. Robert's model has working thrust reversers on all 4 engines.
My fault,
Have a nice sunday,
Fabian
