Fantastic...It appears as though you are enjoying FSX Roger...

Ash, yes I am. I'm doing all the flying I can find time for in FSX as I experiment transferring planes over.
Here's something for all of the 'hard-antis' to consider. There is so much good stuff in it if you look for it. It's a pity that it's been let down by other stuff that I've mentioned elsewhere that could have been fixed before release IMO if a fraction of the money spent on promos, demos and seminars had been spent on a bit more development work.
But there's a very great deal about it to enjoy, and with care and editing of the cfg file and things, it's possible to get it to reasonable levels of quality and FR even on a fairly modest machine, which is all I've got, as my pics show. Notice I haven't turned off autogen, road and water traffic or airborne AI to get there.
We've bashed MS and hopefully despite some of the more childish responses we've received from some of the apogees amd MS appeasers the message has, and will continue to get through.
We want the bugs and errors fixed, and fast. Not in 9 months or a year's time. This side of Christmas.
A lot of us now have now kept our side of the bargain by keeping the faith and upgrading. So that is how they should keep their side. And that's what I meant elsewhere by finding a constructive way to move forward.
In the meantime there's no reason why we shouldn't enjoy the many great features that are there in FSX.
