Goshawk ILS

Postby Mobius » Mon Oct 30, 2006 10:51 pm

Rotty's thread on the CAT III ILS approach (HERE) got me in the mood to try a couple of ILS approaches myself, and I must say, for not being able to see anything, it was loads of fun! :)

Climbing out after takeoff, up to 7500 ft, between the cloud layers...

On the downwind leg (I hope at least)...
Image

Errr....I can't see anything.....
Image

Woah!  Should I be this surprised to actually see the runway where I thought it should be?...
Image

Wow, that wasn't too bad for my first attempt ;D...

Thanks for looking, and as always, feel free to comment, even if it's only to call me an idiot for posting a bunch of shots of just the fog. ;D ;)

Very nice, Mobe. I like that first one. :) Is that the DSB (Gos)hawk?

Thanks, I got the Hawk off a PC-Pilot CD a while back, but I can't remember which issue it was, but if I remember right, it is the DSB one.
