My First FSX Pics-Randoms

Postby an-225 » Sun Oct 29, 2006 6:18 am

Well here they are... my first ever FSX pics!

Image

Woah, crap close one! Everyone is flying away from me damn it... Fastmover flies away, arrive at AR51, Aurora takes off, taxi to parking, Blackhawk leaves!  >:( ;)

Image
This is my favourite... You should see it when its NOT compressed!  :o

Image
Time to buzz the cruiser!  ;D Low approach to Sitka Rocky.

Image
Outbound of Sydney after flying under the Sydney Harbour Bridge (no ozzy NOT inverted!) About to turn back to do a touch and go at Bankstown.

I get a nice 9-15 FPS in rural+city areas. Autogen is set to SPARSE and most other sliders are MAXED. Traffic is set to ZERO. System specs: Processor: Intel Pentium 4 3.20 Ghz, (2CPUs) 510 RAM, GeForce 6800 GPU, 256 mbs memory, Windows XP SP2. One tweak running. (where you insert two lines into the FSX.cfg)

To everyone with FSX remember-have FUN!!!  ;)

Cool shots!
Although.. 9-15 FPS, I can barely play when my PC hits 15 FPS. I personally think you'll have a much better experience if you put some sliders a bit to the left.

I rarely get 9... 9 FPS only lasts for 2 secs in congested areas I.E: St Maarten with the aircraft carrier and all those targets + autogen. Avg is 12. You'd be surprised, 70% of my flying has been done in 15 FPS conditions its acually not that bad! Anyway 1gb of RAM is on the way PLUS a copy of Ultimate DeFrag (came with FSX order waiting for it to arrive)

Looking good! Those reflections do make compressing shots more vicious than ever...
