The DC-3's Soviet Cousin.

Postby Lazerbeak » Tue Aug 15, 2006 6:59 pm

Took a Lisunov Li-2 up for a spin today. In reality, it's just a repaint of the default DC-3, and as a result, is not 100% accurate (wrong type of engines, for example). But it's close enough. Enjoy.

Parked at Rostov-na-Donu.

To those that want the repaint, follow THIS LINK to avsim.ru.

The package comes with three repaints (two different Aeroflot liveries and the military version you see here) complete with VC mods and all.

Please note that I did some modifications to the plane in the shots (minor mods to the exterior paint and heavily edited the VC to add some more detail), but the package still looks great on its own. :)

And I bet I'm the only person here who has seen a real Li-2 in flight ;D

Hmmm, that is strange. I tested it myself just now and the same thing happened, which is odd because it worked fine when I downloaded it (granted, that was some time ago). Unfortunately, this is the only place I know of where you can find it. :(
