One major downfall to the demo. The sun is in one direction when the sun's reflection is coming from the opposite direction. Switch to dawn and you'll see what I mean.

I'm not complaining at all about this simply because it's a demo. I'm pretty sure the developers have found about this soon enough and obviousely they should have it fixed by the time they finalize the sim.

Thanks guys! :)

ECKO!  What are your specs and hows your performance?  Those are STUNNING!

P4 3.4 GHz
2048 Mb PC3200 RAM
256 Mb GeForce 6800GT

Medium settings = 20+ FPS

High, which these shots are of, 15+ FPS, around the airport FPS was low, mostly 15 or a bit less, out on sea, it was great.

No, they just changed it.  You can cycle through different VC views with A and the last one is the 2D.  Or you press F10 (or was it F11) to bring up the 2D.

That's surprising. I expected them to be gone. Although for me it is easier to use aircraft system from the 2D panels.

If I remember ocrrectly, people said that the default ACs in FSX were gonna suck.  This is just a demo and they look great!

Some people seem to labour under the misconception that if it's default, it's crap. But if you ask me, MS has shown themselved to be capable of some truly amazing-looking planes and cockpits.

Judging from what (little) I've seen so far, addon developers have their work cut out for them if they wish to top the VC's seen in the default Beaver and CRJ (IMO).
