I think they look good in shot 3.
In shot 4, it's not really what I expected, but most likely some addon textures will be provided by the community soon after the release ;)

does anyone know how much FSX will cost when it comes out? as i may be tempted to get it when i buy my own pc. I love the new textures in FSX of what i've seen in peoples screenshots and the new features sound great.

yes it's really strange...
we probably have to get used to, as there is no way to disable it...as far as I know.

it does look too realistic to me, but it's still a nice new feature

I think it looks pretty cool, and the point is not what it looks like out of the box, it's the fact that it's possible and included. Someone is sure to make "improved wet runway fx", maybe even Nick himself ;)

good stuff, i like #1

did you have a bit of a hard time with the brakes on a wet runway? i wonder if the 'wetness' is just textures or if it actually affects the dynamics of the model/game

But does it behave like a wet runway should?

This is the GREAT question.

Or is it all a bluff. Another of so many eye-candies.

Please tell.
