I found out about the information not long ago over at the FS2004.com forums. This is the most direct link provided:

I'm signed in and everything. I'm guessing my ad blockers are causing the problem. If you have no ad blockers on, you should be able to see a countdown clock that's counting down the days till the release of the demo.

EDIT: For some reason, the link doesn't show in text. But you should see the link on the second screenie.
