OK this may not be FS2004 but, I tried to get the worst fs shot here OK, its from FS98, which I still have lurking on my hardrive.

Well it isn't 2004....it's '02!

I went into my sim and before i started a flight i went to settings and lowered them all the way down...on everything (except frames)

My sim crashed while trying to load. twice. then i started with my default settings and then mid flight i changed the settings.

Sure it is, that's how FSX will have to appear on a P4 3Ghz 1Gb ram Geforce 6800 ultra 256Mb ram, or equivalent PC if you want to have decently usable fps.

I was serioulsy shocked when it crahsed. I jonestly thought, "oh it will load alot faster" and it turns out it crashes my sim not once but twice

The fact that Airshow_lover's frames got 20x better with full settings as opposed to lowest settings still boggles my mind... that rig must be British...

..or American... if you're from the UK.

Fact is it's very much backward.
