Lovely sunset job... I saw a Robin of some sort land the other day..... on its wing.  :o

Very interesting, and thankfully non fatal landing. Crosswind tipped her up just before touchdown, and down she came on the end of her left wing, before spinning (horizontally) 360 and coming to a halt.

I just watched in horror... :(

The pilot taxiied off immediately, perhaps hoping no one would notice :D

Thanks for looking and for your comments guys. I'm not getting much time just now and I was supposed to be working when I whipped this one off.

Just before I went out this evening (to pick up a client's dang computer) I finished a quick paint job on the DR400. I always liked Yannick's scheme that came with the original 2002 plane (remember it? - it had no pilot) but on this later aircraft that does have a pilot it became transparent. So I adapted it as most of the repaints that are available for the newer plane are blue for some reason. It came out pretty well - this is it ..
