This must have been taken in Cambridge back in the 80's when I was an Air Cadet with 1280 Sqn. Learning aerobatics with 5 AEF ;D

1280 squadron Ozzy? tut tut 1986 squadron was the way to go!

1280 were the top Sqn in the Herts/Bucks Wing whilst I was with them. Winning LOADSA stuff ;)

Hmm sadly i am aware of their reputation. Mind i think everyone is under the impression that their squdaron is the best one!
Erm 1986 has won the wings wingfield cup three years in a row. but we lost the past two years  :P
Interesting to see how many cadets there are floating about out there.

jammy gits... think I was in one of the worst squadrons: 49F Greenock, Glasgow & W.Scotland Wing... 3 years and not one cadet was given the oportunity for  any flying whatsoever  :-/
