well, i have had some time to humm and harr of my screenshot contest possibilities, and these are some of the screens that have come out on the bottom of the pile.

Those two 747 rock! Also like the Embrear. Those fighters are sure pretty, but I'm more in commercial flying. I like the carrier pic best from the mil. section.

excellent shots.  isnt your 747 a -200 or -300 though.  i thought all 747-400 had winglets...or am i wrong.  really like #s 3 & 4   8)

yes, it looks like your 747 is not a -400. despite the 747-400D doesn't have any winglets... but I'm pretty sure lufthansa never own such A/C. it would have been JAL then....

but what I would like to say is that anyone pic is a solid contestant!!! really... your shot are gettting better and better, and your ideas are really good.
my favorite is the second. try the same but take more time to set your sky/clouds combinaison. the time of the day should have been slightly earlier (if it was dusk) to bring in more light, but not too much. some nice mountains, picturing an island, far away in the background would give the final touch...
that's what I would do. and I'm not you...
