My Trip to Jesenicko (Part 1 of 2)

Postby Lazerbeak » Tue Jul 25, 2006 6:44 pm

I just got the scenery for the Jesenicko area, and decided to have myself a short hop from LKSU to LKMI. These are the first shots I've posted from my new rig, so the quality is better than usual. Enjoy.

I arrived to LKSU in the late evening. There was a lovely sunset on the horizon as I drove into the airport.

After I had parked the car, I thought I'd grab a bite before taking off.
Image

After enjoying a delicious meal of roast pork with dumplings and cabbage, I walked to the hangars.

And there was my lovely custom-painted Lancair Legacy waiting for me.
Image

I taxied to the runway, and away I went. You can really feel the power of this A/C as you take off.
Image

On the way to LKMI, I got to see some truly beautiful landscapes. I could already tell that this'd be a great hop.

That wraps up part one. Feel free to comment if you like the shots.

EDIT: Part two here.

Actually, my sig (which needs changing now) is from my old comp, my new comp (from which these shots were taken) has a TON more space, so I can now download to my heart's content. 8)

??? ???eh??? ???

I think he might be referring to the delicious meal I "ate" just before the flight. It's a traditional Czech dish, which is appropriate, since Jesenicko is located in the Czech Republic. ;)

He was  ;D
Though whether it's delicious depends on the tastebuds of the eater...
