malleable, ductile, crystalline geese

Today's serving: 5 helpings of Anser Stannus: Fokker VII, Ford Trimotor, Boeing 80...okay, so only one is a real tin goose, but never mind... ::)

Nice shots Krigl, maybe a bit on the boring side in terms of aircraft, but lovely never the less. :)

Boring?! Surely not!!! Back in the inter-war years, A-Net was buzzing with heated debate on which plane kicks a$$ the most, and the people who crowded out Boeing Field to see the 80 take to the skies made the A380 event look like a children's party....

They were state-of-the-art at the time, with better food and more legroom on every flight than nowadays.
They were slow, but I'd rather take a long ride in an old Tri-Motor than just about any current jetliner.
I've taken a short ride in a Ford- a bit noisy, but more like real flying. And more civilzed, if you ask me.;D

Nice screenies, BTW ;)

You know K, #2 is about as good as it gets, the mist, the aircraft textures, the scenery...a really suberb collection here, but #2 made the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end... :)
