No wonder your getting 5.8fps, try using Fs Sky world for your clouds. I found out that silverwings clouds actually have worse fps and worse detail. Here is the link to Fs Sky World: http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=56578 ;)

Well its good to know that i'm not the only one with crapy fps ;D

I was using active sky when the fps droped, but that's not the worst part, the sim keeps pausing for a second or too aswell.

I think i have too much junk installed for my pc to handle, i need a bigger elastic band for it.

Thanks for the link LVA 157 i will give that a go. ;)

I too have to cope with obscenely low FPS. Most of the time, just getting up to 10 FPS is a blessing. I've gotten fairly used to it though, and now single-digit FPS numbers are what I consider "smooth"...

Us not-rich, old-PC-having-to-use folks gotta stick together.
