Spotters fieldday...

Postby Omag 2.0 » Thu Mar 23, 2006 3:17 pm

A rare opportunity presented itself as I was taking shots of departing traffic at EBBR today. Things were as usual, lots of shiny birds, until I captured these!

Look close! The front door wasn't closed properly! Amazing the captain didn't spot this problem before take-off!

The plane declared an emergency and returned to the airport after a short go-around flight. No passengers were hurt, just the crew's ego got slightly dented!

Cheers,

Omag

Finally found the right drivers again... not from Nvidia, but from creative Labs, the manufacturer of the card!

I'm backing them up this time!  ;D

Very nice Omag and well spotted. I find oxygen masks SO inconvenient when partaking of good Turkish coffee.

Winglets. 8)

All jets should be forced to have winglets by law. Without them they are but pale shadows of their latent glory.

Doing a course in "writing pompous nonsense" at nightschool right now, seems to be paying off... :D
