All nice shots...I think the Tiger moth shots will looks better in a day flight with clouds and a blue sky like the first or your entry in the contest.
are you using usakosky.zip for sky texture?

Soui, you hit the nail right on the head....seems as soon as I add any heavy weather to my pic, the background mountain resolution blurs. I have to set up for 1 pic, then quit the flight, reset and start all over again to get the sharpness back. Everything in FS9 display settings is maxed out, including cloud densities etc.....my comp is screaming for mercy. Then there's the composition issue. When I become obsessive about trying to get "just the right compo" going, it seems nothing I do is good enough, there's always something better I should be going after. I think i'm ready for intensive psychotherapy...seen Doc Theis around?  What's been troubling you with the mountain theme?.....regards from the screenshot posessed...Clip

Hey Clipper, you might try to change the time, 1 second is enough, just go to change time/date, set time 1 second  later and click ok, that makes the sim reload, so you should get the textures all right. Allways worked for me. You can even set the second back, before clicking OK, if you need to have it back as before exactly on second....

Mr. Mugel, thanks for the tip. I change time constantly, but I never would have thought about a 1 second time advance just to reset the graphics. I'll try it to-night. Thanks!

Can I have a marmelade enema instead?  ;)
