Airport Closed

Postby Diesel_Burn » Sun Mar 12, 2006 4:21 am

While flying into Glasgow and watching the BBC news at the same time, the news was informing me that Glasgow and Edinburgh airports are closed due to heavy snow. I had real weather on and yes, as you can see the snow is heavy but Glasgow airport is open. Would it not be a nice feature of FSX to be able to live update the current status of all the world airports and maybe another feature for an early warning system in place to let all incoming traffic to know this and be diverted accordingly?

FS does not close airports as of FS9...to them...it doesn't matter if it's snowing like crazy...they want you to land...fools ;D ;D

Problem with FS9 is that no matter how much it snows, non ever settles on the runway or taxiways! This would be a cool feature indeed but can't see it apearing even in FSX. FSXV maybe? ;)
