Childhood flight.

Postby robtor1 » Tue Mar 07, 2006 12:23 am

Re-creation of a flight I took to Washington, D.C. when I was about ten years old.

En route.

Welcome to Washington!

Exit the runway at the next taxiway.

Thanks for looking, comments welcome.  The return flight, as I recall, was a stormy evening.  Stay tuned...

Thanks for the comments.

The plane is the YS-11 by Allied Flight Group.  The model and the repaint are available at their website.

Nice! Good looking plane, and I like the topic.

Please return your tray backs to the full and upright position.

A bit late to tell you that - you're practically kissing the runway! What were they thinking
