Im a FS gliding expert, Id love to help any way I can.  Also, we need some tow pilots.

Nice idea, probably you know about this site already but if you don't....

Some nice models there by Wolfgang Piper. Correction - a LOT of models.. :)

There's also a links page (go down the list) and if you click on VET it has a way of catapulting the gliders into the air, haven't tried that though.

If you come across a way of getting a plane to pull you up let me know, that would be cool...

Sounds like a great idea :D I wouldn't mind 'towing' the aircraft up into the sky, aswell as doing a little gliding myself.

You may also want to download the thermals that were realeased (they're in the Gliding section here at SimV). I myself don't do any gliding, but I'm sure it would be fun floating around above the Alps :)

if i want to glide i just hope in my F4U-1a Corsair and turn off the engine... i never bothered with the glider just dont understand how to get airborn
