Off to buzz Saitek's house...

Postby Censport » Tue Jan 24, 2006 12:07 pm

Killing two birds with one stone, I thought I'd try out the new Spartan (Oh no! Another Spartan thread!)
and make good on my promise to buzz Saitek's house in Inverness.

Taking off from my "home" airport of EGEC, the weather is... Scottish. At least that's it's like when I've been there. My pre-flight check went okay, everything's checked off on my list, but I can't shake the feeling that I'm forgetting something...

Red skies at night...

Ah, the Highlands. I really like this shot. If it were a photo, it'd be a "this is why I fly" picture.

The classic flying scenario: Staying below the clouds while staying above the terrain. Not a lot of room here!

Made it to Inverness, and now I realize what was bugging me earlier... I forgot to ask Saitek for his coordinates! AAARRGH! This is no weather for buzzing all the houses, so I guess I'll just have to land for the night. I wonder if there's any good pubs in Inverness...  ;) ;D

The highlands shot is a beauty. Solid series, Saitek or not. The total repaints now available for the Spartan is 43,000,000,000,000,000,000
