Yes, they're just like Tornadoes, except American, so they're bigger, louder, more fuel-hungry and not quite as dapper in overall appearance

VF-84 Jolly Rogers.  ;D I probably spent a moment or two under that same plane before she left the deck of the Nimitz. When a turkey left the barn, the whole flight deck lit up like it was daylight .

Navy Squadrons call their "00" birds 'double nuts', and are the CAG (Carrier Air Group) bird for that sqdn.
