Fear not. I have no such feelings for you nor for any other man. Nor did I think you were a girl. Cause I've known enough of them to know that they couldn't care less whether an F14 could out fly a Lightning. ;D

So don't worry. You're perfectly safe from me. ;D

(I would look out for Fozzer though. He seems the type. :o :-X ;D :-*)

1st off the F-14 doesn't need to outfly anything. At 60 miles the whole argument of any competition is moot anyway. Whatever jet you put up against an F-14 in any real battle would be picked up by the Hawkeyes way before any close in contact (up to 250 miles away).  The AIM-54 would settle any otherwise meaningful difference in manuverability and speed. But to settle this whole argument at the git go, you ain't never going to see an EE, Typhoon, or any other euro jet up against a US fighter. They use the same early warning resources. IF, for some reason a western jet was to be in the hands of an enemy pilot, it's tactical superiority in any way is negated by the allied tactics and air support resources. So either US or Euro might have the upper hand in mock mode, but in real time battle it's not going to happen.

Keni ;)

PS nice shots BTW, I think the last pic is a photo, not a screen which is why its a different size. Sweet lloking sky in the 1st shot!

In a real dogfight? I'd have to say it would be the Fulcrum and Raptor, depending on which pilot was more experienced.

The best European fighter? Figure out a way to strap a couple of AIM-9s to wings of a Spitfire. ;D

Keni ;)

Edit: I just reread what I posted and hope it din't look like I was putting down modern Euro Jets, was just praise for the Spit. ;D
