Hong Kong Dreaming

Postby kipman725 » Mon Jan 16, 2006 1:06 pm

Hello, this is my second batch of screen shots and my first on fs2004, which I recently purcased ;D.  If you missed my first batch of screenshots I recomend you take a look, the sr-71 on is one of the best fs2002 screenshots I have seen if I say do myself  ;)

Both pics are dusk pictures over hong kong area
Water textures: Perfect Water
Sky textures: Perfect Sky
Aircraft: Lockheed Super Constellation (TWA)

From these pictures you can see the way in which perfect sky and water work together well to produce dream like pictures :), what your missing in these pictures do to the resize is all the prety stars and the faint whisps of cloud which are far more noticable in the full size version.

Are you sure your water textures are not Perfect Water, and sky textures Perfect Sky? Seems a bit odd to me that Perfect sky is the water texture, and perfect water is the sky texture

Fixed that little glitch, thanks for your comments guys.  At the moment I'm looking for a replacement sun as the one in fs2004 looks crap in screenshots, any suggestions?

Wow that new sun is so realistic, good call Asher  8)

According to the infalable wikipedia there were quite a few super connies:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_mo ... stellation

I don't particulary like that plane model as it mucks up my fs2004 force feedback when I fly it (all planes suddenly have rapidly osilating controll surfaces when at high speed or near the sound barier and shake themselves apart even though they should be able to fly at those speeds) to get my force feedback normal again I have to disable and re enable it.  Also the model has an unweathered texture and no aircraft information, overall it feels unfinished.
It also flys like a bitch :P
