Painters! (and others) Behold!

Postby Alphajet_Enthusiast » Tue Jan 17, 2006 12:47 pm

Hello guys,

I did a search for liveries for the iFly 747-400 at avsim and guess what... only one livery available?!
I wanted to do one myself after and discovered... no paintkit... Maybe thats whats putting other painters off the job?

So I made a blank texture for the iFly 747 myself to start painting my liveries.
I think I may upload this as a paintkit sometime so that hopefully other painters will be encouraged as they no longer have to do the tedious job of making the blank texture.

Heres a preview of what some of you may be painting soon (and others will be enjoying as hopefully more repaints will be done ;D):

I call this blank texture "primer"  ;) It took a lot of time but makes further repainting much easier.
Hope some will find it useful (soon, gotta do my own repaints first, to make sure im first! ;))

Alpha  :)

Oh that's right you werent here when it got released!!!  ;)
The iFly Boeing 747 is the best Freeware 747 available. Its got like all systems working, including the FMC!!  :)

Find it here, on avsim or at flightsim.
Its probably my favourite freeware airliners, with a few quirks but hopefully they'll get sorted soon.

Ah Fitter, Varig may not be a bad idea!  ;)
