Quick look at "PerfectWater"

Postby Clipper » Sat Jan 14, 2006 11:11 pm

Not sure if everyone's seen this yet, but it may be worth looking into. Available here...http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=79616
it's as good a water add-on as I've ever used. (actually better than any). So check it out, see for yourself, you may end up liking it as much as I do.. :) Sorry the pics aren't the greatest, it's been a long day at the "V"and I need to get some sleep... :P

The shades of blue are quite varied.....

Note the double row of breaking waves here...

Looks cool, except that the waves look like they're from the very first Lyons water package.
I was thinking of downloading this one... I guess trying a water package never hurt anybody.  ;)

check your settings, if it is not your settings then there might be something mixed in with the new textures causing it to look wrong! Save that file for a day when you decide to refresh your FS9 (complete reboot).

I wind up doing that when I get carried away with addons taking them in and dumping them. Sometimes you lose files and don't know it!
Its only in your mind, strong mind, strong soul and nobody can take that from you!

Tried it, didn't like it, went back to morewatr.zip...

The colour is waaaay to blue, the waves look nice from high altitiude, but aren't that nice when flying low.... Oh well... you know what they say about taste and colours...

Man, do I feel bad. You're absolutely right Ashar, we've got to support our own members. It's probably good timing now that we're discussing water, to take a few screenies and make another thread promoting your water. Marketing, marketing, marketing!
