I'll agree with you all on the EE Lightning, but I'm gonna agree even more with Charlie and say the Hawker Hunter F1 - FGA9 (Fighter variants, the trainers are ugly!)

Then standstill to full verticle to 30,000 would prolly beat u too. BTW, I'm gonna ask that question to a real aviation expert that knows alot about both aircraft. ;)



You'd have a hard time doing it. The race to 30,000 was a popular hobby with the Lightning squadrons and the only aircraft ever to beat it was the Harrier which just took off vertically and was at 10,000 feet before the Lightning had even taxied to the runway. ;D
