this brings back memories when my friends and I made up our own version back in year 6 (which I believe is equivalent to 6th Grade, not sure) - it was funnily awful.  :-/  :D

Oh well, at least the real version is better! :)

I think the NAVY's reputation took a serious blow when the  VP made this song :)

Personally, I feel, that as everyone on the planet knows at least two of their songs, that they are a great band. I mean seriously , with the possible exception of Bohemian Rhapsody, is there any other song on the planet that is as well known as YMCA? :P
