Checking out Morewatr

Postby Alphajet_Enthusiast » Mon Jan 09, 2006 2:06 pm

Omag seems to have been fervently promoting this one lately so I thought I'd give it a try... I think im going to keep it this time though... ;D

What I was looking for was water which was wavy and reflective like the Silverwings one, did not become distorted at high altitude and maintained the blueish water around southern coasts which Silverwings removes.... High requirements, yes.

What better place to find out than Italy, whether it stays blueish?
Image

Looks blue to me
Image

And good from altitude. You can now note the transition in the water colour again, yeah! :)
Image

I now love flying along southern coasts again...
Image

And the reflections are very nice...
Image

You were right Omag. This wate is the business! ;)

There are sooo many great Italy sceneries, as I mentioned in a topic a while back but which everybody ignored and it eventually got moved to "othe websites" where it has been forgotten ever since.

Oh well, this is the Costa Smeralda Italy Photoreal scenery. Search on avsim. :)

The water slider thing needs to stay on high for it to work...  :)
Also, 9thsimplex, yeah thats how it looks like in the menu. Im not sure how the Orion screenshots are related though... You also should install ITALMESH04.zip first.  :)
Thanks for the rest of the comments everyone.  :)

I would like to say that you at least give my water a go...if you like it it's completely up to you...type in Ashar at the Avsim library or search for new_water_effects.zip at SimV...here's are 2 tiny preview shots:

Neat shots though...but is that the RAS Marchetti?

Cheers Kobe,
Ashar ;)

No its not the realair Marchetti, its the new freeware Belgian Marchetti package made by me (original aircraft by Gio Clemente, he gave me permission to include it), I daresay you might give it a go. ;) Available here on simv.  :)

Yes I'll give your water a go. I think I have it laying around somewhere...  :)
