Stratojet Melin

Postby gijake » Fri Jan 06, 2006 11:52 am

I just downloaded the Stratojet Melin so I gave it a test run.  It is a great bird.  fast, menuverable(sp)  and reletivly easy to fly.  Dispite its name, it is a prop plane.

Cool looking plane  ;D ;D ;D ;)

As an end note:  if you take away the red-bar above the plane when you are flying, it makes the screens much better, and more realistic  ;D ;)

Well, to me, this looks like a cross between the Rutan Vari-eze and the old Curtis Ascender (ass-ender), a USAF proposed fighter........

Yes, it is based off of the second one, as well as someother WWWII prototypes.  Check out the Stratojet site for more info.

Another nice AC from Stratojet. Based on what the americans and the Germans were both working on towards the end of WWII. However, the jet engine rendered it obsolete at the time. The model is supposed to have twin rear mounted engines driving twin contra rotating props, nice!
