I think the 412 virus struck me...

Postby Souichiro » Tue Jan 03, 2006 8:43 pm

Although I hope my futere flights will develop better than this one....

It all started a bit late in the afternoon but it started well! Weather ok-ish
Image

Flying was nice
Image

But later.....
Image

The weather suddenly turned over...
Image

Fog all around and clouds rapidly moving in..
Image

Still no worries though.. been there done that....but then..
Image

Something broke down and I was beginning to lose power.... Landing in such a bushy area was no option....
Image

I knew water was very nearby

And I made it!!
Image

Thank goodness that this thing has floats!
Image

Lucky!

Cheers Soui! ;D ( Who can turn any flight into a disaster)

Thank goodness for airbags! Gotta love Hovercontrol, best chopper i've found. Great weather as well in the pics, love the low fog.  8)

It's a really bad "Virus"!
They say the only way to get rid of it is to fly it for hours and hours......Until it has to go in for major overhaul!.......which will give you time to recover!
Great shots of a wonderful helicopter!
Thanks......

Jordan Moore and Holger Sandmann...two elite masters of their trade. Moore's 412 has won many awards, Sandmann's mesh is just lights out as good as it gets.
Beautifully captured Soui. That's a great combination of craft and location.  :)

Souichiro, good luck enjoying your virus. It looks like you're doing fine. The 412 does take a bit of getting used to. I was flying the Hughes 500D most of the time before the 412 came out. My landings are getting better, but I haven't tried putting the 412 on top of a skyscraper yet.

And don't even get me started on the Schweizer 300C. I can barely keep that thing pointed up!
