Playing with angles.......

Postby cspyro21 » Tue Jan 03, 2006 2:52 pm

Hey all,
today I was messing around with different angles in screenshots. no, not in F1View, but using Photoshop CS to rotate the image and crop as needed (should these be in the edited screenshots?)

Anyway, here are the shots:

Since it's edited, shouldn't this be in the edited section? ;)

Nice idea Spyro, that first one is lovely!

Since it's edited, shouldn't this be in the edited section? ;)

Not interested in another protracted debate, but it was precisely this rotating and cropping technique which 'the mods' said was a way of taking walk-and-follow like shots but keeping things freeware :)

So they are ok here, I expect, I'm sure they'll be moved if deemed outside The Rules. I find it hard to understand why the location of any pics is important to anyone. Pictures = important, communication = important... :) Rules are needed, but imho they are for the mods to enforce if they wish/need to.

That's all... Cheers

Nice shots! I don't think that just cropping counts as 'edited' as the picture itself is original to the sim. Most of mine are cropped to a certain degree to get rid of the Windows task-bars at the top and bottom.

Neat. :) I never thought of using Photoshop to rotate it. :) Nice thinking, Pyro.

Beautiful scenery and compos here Cspyro Great idea, you've introduced a technique with very interesting potential. Simon, you should run FS9 in full screen mode to eliminate the taskbar permanantly....

I know but on the whole, I find the resolution, especialy of panels, better in window mode. Unless you can tell me how to change that?

Ya know that's funny, I find just the oppisite. If not in full window mode, I loose my FR's to the point of being almost unflyable.

I'm with cspyro, if it doesn't belong here it'll be moved to where it belongs.

Yes, frame rates are better in full screen mode but some panels seem to display better in window mode. Any way of sorting this?

Thanks for taking a look guys!

Since it's edited, shouldn't this be in the edited section? ;)

Well, I was thinking that, and seeing as F1View won't work on my PC, I decided to try a different type of getting a new angle..... I hope they are allowed, we can get nice results from this method. :)

That's an interesting look on things Krigl..... maybe I ought to start using this thing you call "common sense".... :D

Could you give me an example of a panel that doesn't run/dispay well in full mode?

Beautiful scenery and compos here Cspyro Great idea, you've introduced a technique with very interesting potential

Wow! Thanks! It wasn't that hard to do as well, maybe I have! :D

And thank you to the rest of you who dropped in to have a look! :)
