Definitely not flying weather...!

Postby Fozzer » Sat Dec 31, 2005 8:17 am

Hello all...!

Just received my copy of the San Francisco newspaper "Kron 4 News"via the 'Net this morning....
Front page news warns of atrocious weather for this weekend, with danger of flooding...

http://www.kron4.com/Global/category.as ... =menu130_1

...so...
I load up FS 2004, and Jeppesen's "Real Weather" for the Bay area, have a peek out of my cockpit window, and lo and behold...
This is what I get...>>>
Image

Definitely NOT the sort of weather to be flying around in a small General Aviation aircraft...!!!

An illustration of how real Jeppesen Real Weather can be... :o...!

Cheers all...!

Paul...Waiting 'till the weather clears...8)...!

Definitely NOT the sort of weather to be flying around in a small General Aviation aircraft...!!!

Most pilots would have made that decision before going through all the trouble of starting the aircraft up, communicating with clearance delivery and ground, and taxing out to the runway ;)
