LO:MAC Troubles (please help)

Postby flyboy 28 » Wed Dec 28, 2005 7:58 pm

Alright so I got LOMAC today, and I was really happy cause I got Flaming Cliffs along with it. Plus it was only $30 for the pack.

So I get it all set up and I go to take a few flights and this is what I see

James ???

Oh, I am installing Flaming Cliffs now. Maybe that will solve it? Worth a try.

I'd say try that, otherwise, mess with the graphics settings and your video card settings.  Also, did you get the Lock On Gold version?  If that doesnt help, try the forums over at www.lockon.ru. ;)

Aye, it was the Gold version. I installed Flaming Cliffs but that just made my entire computer buggy. Oh well. GameStop has a 7 day return policy. :)

I've heard of some sort of problem with the Gold version, but I am not too sure of the details, that might of been it.  If you really wanted it, I would get the normal version and then order Flaming Cliffs from naturalpoint.com.  I would have to recommend fiddling with it because it really is worth it!   ;)

We'll see. My current system won't support it anyway. :P

Lets see some of your specs.
I had a very similar problem on my old pc, although with me it was even worse, the whole image was distorted and everything.
Try going into the encyclopedia of LOMAC, if the ac there arent textured its most likely due to hardware.
If you write about it to Ubi dont expect a valid reply for at least a week...  :P

Pentium 4
512 ram
Some horrible onboard (I was supposed to get a new card yesterday but Circuit City screwed up my order).

I'm just going to return the Gold pack and see if I can find the regular LOMAC.
