I got fsskyworld, picked abunch of clouds, installed (easiest thing EVER), and here: good clouds

Your new card really is doing the buisiness, isn't it? Never thought a completely default AC could look so good, never mind the clouds! 8)

Yes, my new card is performing better than expected.  And, with the supposed imminent release of FSX (FS 10 or Flight Simulator 2006), what perfect timing!

That new VGA of yours is really working out I see!

Your results look alot like mine, even though I have a slightly higher end PC (of course, I can't see your framerates) ;D

cool shots jake your new baby rocks..as for skyworld and clouds being one of the biggest killers..i'll stick with the normal performance set for now...but they look great :) :)

Clouds are looking much better Jake. I'd love to see what your card does with a little dawn or dusk sky coloring . 30fps with FSSkyworld heavy cumulus is outrageous. I can't get past 5-8 with those settings.

Ill try dawn and dusk later.  Keep in mind I was between the clouds, not in them.  Maybe flying through them whould cause an FPS drop, but that doesnt matter because most of the time when Im in the clouds the AP is flying the plane
