I am as happy as Duggy!

My smile is almost as big as his!  Tonight was the first night of Hannukah, and I got a BRAND NEW ATI RADEON X700PRO 256MB GRAPHICS CARD!

And my oh my, what a difference it makes.  I knew FS could LOOK this good, but I had no idea it could RUN so smoothely!  I now have it locked at 30, only dropping when changing views sometimes (and that lasts about 2 seconds).  Without FPS locked, over 50 with spikes over 100

And, how can I complain with shots like these!  (looks even better ingame!)

Lucky Bugger! I'd dropped hints for weeks but didn't get one! Oh well, better get used to 4-10FPS for some time to come then!

I'd chose the second one cut down a bit for the sig, happy flying.

Smooooth! Duggy has never looked so handsome. I can't believe how clean those shots look. Even with the sun directly in front of the plane there's no aliasing. WOW! Congrats again....

Theres no aliasing cause I have it set to 4X on the card  My old "card" was an integrated ATI Radeon X200 128MB.  So this is my first high performance graphics card (on my old pc I had a shitty Geforce MX4000 )

I think I'll be getting one of those instead of a new Saitek X52. Just got FS9 and I only get 10-15fps with details at meduim low. In FS8 I got 20+ with everything turned up to high.

Well Jake, I'm still sticking with my GeForce FX Go2500 (my laptop can't get better thyan that I think ) but fortunately Christmas (by the way I hope you are having/had a happy Hannukah) bought me a RAM upgrade. At long, LONG last

Still, I imagine your FS looks great, I'm glad you got your new "toy"
