It's happened to be once or twice.  I had droped my joysick when I went to the bathroom and I came back, and, well, it looked like a 2 year old scribbled clouds across the sky.

The only reason why I can see that happening is maybe a flightplane was impossible for a aircraft to fly. So basically their may have been a intersection very close to a vor or vise-versa, then the aircraft followed it, then made a weird contrail, relaing to what the flight path was. ;)  or you got a commercial airliner on steroids lol. ;D ;D
