Silver Wings

Postby flyboy 28 » Tue Nov 15, 2005 7:15 pm

A great addon. I recommend highly to all. Thanks Jake for the head-up and the Lyons gang for creating it. :)

Sorry for the low quality. My PC was going through its weekly "Screw You!" phase.

Starting out in the Kellet Autogyro.

I love the roads.

Switch to the Tri-Motor. I like how there's actually no trees in the fields. I hated flying along, and boom, there's a nursery in the middle of a cornfield. Realistic treelines are nice. :)

Flying over Clinton, NJ. Very realistic.

Old Ironsides. The USS Constitution with the Ground Fog weather setting. Cool. :)

Hope you enjoyed, and I recommend this to all. Great on frames and all that. See Soui's threads for better clarity. :)

Ironic that you tested it with vintage aircraft ;D ...But then again, I tested it in the Tiger Moth!

I noticed that too after I posted it. It's above the ship. :P

They are all the scenery textures from Golden Wings, but stuck into FS9, not GW.

Nice shots, but those trees look far too big, don't they ? Compare with the houses next to them, it gives an impression of wrong scale...

The trees look a little big, but the pecan tree infront of my house is taller than the house, so I dont think its that they are too big, just they look to much like a small tree.
