Asian Traffic

Postby Ijineda » Wed Nov 16, 2005 10:26 am

Next part of the worldwide planespotting-adventure!

This time we visit Bangkok International Airport, Thailand. Again we got up early to see a lot of departures.

This little airline links Bangkok with Ko Samui; in fact there are 16 flights per day! :o

Image

And of course the decent domestic carrier Thai Airways (2 flights a day).

We arrived at Ko Samui, wonderful tropical Island near Surat Thani.
Some people are observing the takeoff from the main airport building (yes!thats the main building!no walls!).

Image

Leaving paradise behind, off to Bangkok. Notice the sitting buddha in the background!

Lovely plane and scenery, I've been to Koh Samui too, but by train and bus from Singapore as part of a holiday. Nice island....

I didnt arrive by plane. We got our car in Bangkok so we took the car ferry from surat.
