A bit of Cessna

Postby Tweek » Tue Nov 15, 2005 12:13 pm

Just a couple of shots which I think turned out well. Partly because of the excellent repaint! Good old worn look.

Ahem....I spose you fellas do realise that any aircraft that showed visible corrosion (as distinct from superficially flaking paintwork) would be instantly grounded IRL..... ;)

Well, if this repaint depicts rust, then I guess this one shouldn't be flying! But I can't tell whether it is rust, or dirt. Dirt is good :)

Yup, those are nice shots and a nice repaint. ;D

If you like 'dirty' or 'worn' textures, pick up the 'Avalon' repaint, available at AvSim I think.

Cheers ;)

Have it already :) There seems to be a distinct lack in dirty repaints. I try to edit some myself. Though atm, I'm on a shortage of editing programs, as I formatted yesterday.

Ah, good!

I know what you mean - they are few and far between, but when we come across one, they are rather good indeed.

Cheers ;)

*Goes back to looking for good C172 textures*

Very nice repaint ! As already said above, it look really realistic, at least much more than the "shinny" ones I'm used (tired) to see.
Nice shots !
