Well the 8 shot rule seems to have been removed from the image upload page! I'm checking with the webmaster on this and I'll get back to you with the result
It is possible it has been changed to a 500kb per post limit only now and someone forgot to tell me or the announcement came out whilst I was on holiday a month ago

Hehe...phew!! I was wondering why the 8 shot limit would apply if you have a 500Kb limit anyway. Thats why I shrunk 'em down to 640 pixels wide so I could fit them all in 2 posts.
