Some days ago, in a multiplayer sesion my Mig-29 Fulcrum also trespasing the sound barrier. I hear a loud "bang" and at the first instance i believe that the engines exploded.

Yep, you just have to do that once in awhile for the rush. The WarHawks had it built into the aircraft, but before that I had a download, that I found and placed in all my fighter aircraft. It's pretty awesome especially in the spot view.
