Sokos over the Adriatic....

Postby krigl » Tue Nov 08, 2005 4:46 pm

More MP pictures.... ::) with Clipper and Nemo. Well, technically it was multiplayer, but as you can see, thanks to my lack of concentration it was more like solo flying with text messaging...

.. not such nice pics as Nemo posted before, but... here goes anyway ;D

Leaving Venice, last I saw of Clipper's airframe LOL...

Image

...apart from the times we restarted at the airfield after feeling lonely..

Image

The guy behind was breathing in my ear all the time, most unnerving....

Image

...his hamster escaped, and I inverted to shake it onto the cockpit...er... lid, so we could catch it easier.

Image

.... then I seized it in my hand, opened his helmet...

Image

...and rammed it into his mouth. Didn't help though.

As can be seen below, Clipper and I are capable of conversation with the same level of coherence as Ozzy and Rifleman... and this without a drop of alcohol...

Image

The next day it was Nemo's turn to be tormented. Here, Nemo was just about to change planes... then we roared up into the sky...

Image

... and soon I was once again flying blissfully alone. Poor Nemo :'(

Image

Thanks for your patience Nemo and Clipper! And thanks for looking!

Do you guys like flying with people who just disappear out of sight and text you with nonsense or what? ;D

LOL!!!!

I'd love to fly with you sometime, flying with Clipper Saturday at 8:00 GMT, maybe PM him, I'm sure he would be happy to see you there, we're going to Montreal...

Krigl won't admit it bit I hadn't disappeared, I was behind him in trying to catch up as he climbed about 15,000 feet at about 90 degrees. He mumbled something about trimming issues so I suggested he just bail out...Soui, Tweek, it would be great to fly with you next time. Keep a space open on Saturday 18:00 GMT!

Ask Clipper about the Montreal trip on Saturday night, he seems up for a big fly in, would be happy to see you. If Friday ok for the ID 'shoot' I'd be even happier :D

Clipper's right about the trimming, I did bale out but the chute got caught in the flaps and I was dragged through the air for several km, still climbing uncontrollably, before scrambling back in and getting the plane under 'control'. ;D

Thanks all for the comments!
