Not really

In fact in my opinion not even close.

There are many people here who not only land a plane better but also take better screenshots by far.

800x585 also means cropped.

As a judge in our screenshot contests I would rate this very so so and it would be removed for cropping.

But that's just my take.

I agree with Roller and some others here that it's a nice shot but certainly not one of the best I've seen..

The Clouds screw-up most of the pic but if you take a closer look you'll see that it isn't even that crisp..

Walk and follow sure is nice and you can do nice things with it but I have seen better...Much better

Its a cool looking angle, and its a good shot.... only comment I imght say is that it looks like the plane is endangered of clipping a wing.  And that right rudder is looking pretty scary   :o

Indeed!!!, looks like you had a crosswing of 100+ mph, Not gonna say it's the best, but well composed.

yea roger, but if you mind reading the headline, it is a question, and also, are that my opinion, that that ss is one of the best, for my taste!

i know that all have diffrent taste, and peace with that, but that blaming me almost, i really dont like that!!  >:(

So if you enjoy the pic, good.

and if you dont, fine with me!

Too much sky, yet the tail and wings are cut off. Not enough of the ground in the shot. Its not that sharp. Its ok but nothing special.

I'm not a fan of that water. It looks far too unrealistic when it gets nearer to the sun. There's not enough in it to make it a special screenshot. Nice, but not great.

Does anyone know where I could get those water textures in the second SS? They look amazing!

Go to the Avsim file-library and search for a file called "morewatr.zip"....minus the quotes....it's the best water package out there....make a combo with a darker water package and water is pretty darn realistic ;)

Is that really morewatr? I've got that, but never seem to get that kind of effect. And rightly so. :P

Theis, I can see what you mean... to a certain extent. The camera placement is great, it offers a very different perspective to what we normally see. The textures are clean and the sky color is fairly realistic. The clouds, I think are somewhat mediocre. I've seen way better here at V. The pic does have some very unique merits. Thanks for showing it!  :)
