Off to Hawaii (Part 2)

Postby TSC. » Sun Oct 30, 2005 1:24 pm

Hi all,

Firstly, the reason why this particular texture is (now) quite special to me.

This is N500LN (Lady Of The Night) - which I just found out is based approx 20 miles away from me at Exeter airport (EGTE).

Looks like I'll be making some trips up there to try & find the old girl - one of only 22 ever built apparently.

Here's some quick pics from the 2nd leg of my flight down to Hawaii,. Just leaving Juneau:

On our way south, heading for Annette Island (PANT), I have fond memories of stopping there on my way to the Caribbean a while back:

Coming in - lights blazing, 'barn doors' fully extended:

Do I smell or was it something I said?? Everybody seemed to leave as soon as we arrived ???:

Part one here.

Cheers,

TSC.

Ha, I wish I had, the more I look at them, the more I like them!! They were made by Damian Radice & I got them from Avsim.

Cheers,

LOL - I knew you would be excited cspyro, I was waiting for a reaction from you hahaha.

It is mentioned briefly on these sites:

Scroll down to 'Duncan Baker's Hangar'  HERE & scroll down to N500LN (in the 5th paragraph) HERE.

Apparently she dosen't fly much, although she is airworthy, she is stored in excellent condition in Duncan Baker's Hangar on the north side of the airfield.

Now all I have to is find Duncan Baker & bribe him with a pint of Dartmoor Best ;D

Cheers,

TSC.
