Ah?? no.... i took the merlin out of that and put a P&W R-2800-59W in her!  ::) and i forgot one pic Image

Great pictures! Fond memories of CFS2.

After reading "Enemy Coast Ahead" By Wing Commander Guy Gibson, V.C., D.S.O., D.F.C. , I read that glowing manifolds was a common trait of a full-boost Lancaster (and any other Merlin equipped aircraft) especially if the throttles had been on full for a while.

Fascinating book Mark, if you've not read it yet, do so.  ;)

Edit: I've just realised I'm replying to you from my mates PC! I'm 4_Series_Scania.... but, I reckon you'd gathered that already....

He likes me really, honest!  ;D 8)
