Sorry fellow MPers

Postby Rifleman » Wed Oct 26, 2005 2:07 am

Since I closed down after our Carrier antics last Sunday, I have been unable to connect as Wendy and I had our place turned upsidedown with getting new floors in the house.......
.........but since I'm back on now, I can give one little look at how busy things were just off the Golden Gate bridge in the Pacific.........

Here I am returning to the scene after having to reboot due to some technical issues......just look at how many of us were giving it to the navy.......and yes, there are two names overlayed on each other right at the carrier.....
Image

After landing in the hangar deck and challenging anyone at all to come in, Nemo was the first successful candidate to join me.......
Image

Eventually we had four in there and then it was off for the mainland to do some buzzing in Fozzers playground.....
Image

Here is a shot of Paul and I on the way to Half Moon Bay........
Image

After this, it was off to Silicon Valley, but with my new twin loosing oil pressure along the way, I had to deal with an engine fire and land on a dirt road as the best opportunity which presented itself...........
Image
Image

With a second "rented" twin, I was off to try to catch up only to have the same situation to deal with, only this time, I was on final when my luck started to turn sour. Fortunately, I was not going to have to make an off-field landing this time.........made the runway and evacuated without any personal injuries..........
