If I stay up for 24hours, tomorrow

But more than likely on Friday or Saturday night

I have to type up instructions which takes as much time as creating FX.... in order to make them newbie-proof

All your hard effects work looks brilliant Nick, I'm also keen to try it out!

Just a request, ignore at your will ;) :
Your 'all wet' is up and running on my system and looks fabulous, but that prop dust stuff... too much work for me, editing different cfgs and stuff. I fly a different plane every day.

No, I'm not a serious flyer, though I fly a lot. I am one of the sub-group of FS9 users who spend a lot of time tweaking and taking screenshots of different planes in different situations, making varied flights... I would say that your dust effects are of great interest to such graphics-oriented people as I, and in that case couldn't you make them a bit easier to install?

You said in the instructions that people complained when your program installed automatically. Well, I would be only too happy if it did. If a back up is made it is easy to uninstall again. Maybe a quick installer isn't possible with this package? I'd be interested in your views...

All I could do is offer overwrites of the original Microsoft aircraft.cfg files. A batch editor wil not work because every plane has different engine locations, and may use a different gauge and FX file.

Since there is no such tool that will read the aircraft.cfg general gengine data, recalculate the engine positions and write the light/smoke system lines with the proper FX file name, manual editing is required.

It takes me less than 5 minutes to apply the FX to any plane. It just takes a little practice.

I did provide copy/paste lines for the microsoft planes and a few other popular aircraft.
