The latter is my new setup. Thanks for the heads-up, Nick. Those colored textures look nice together with those forest textures.

The new textures do look good, however i kinda like the first shot at the very top.. looks more realistic for me... but then again thats probably because I live in the prairies too  ;D

Man I need to get the contents of that last shot....adds a nice spice of colour to an otherwise grey-ish landscape.
When you say check Nick's thread, are we talking the NIXMIX one or no?
Cheers  ;)

I think I still prefer the BlueSphere textures out of the three. The colours need to be deeper, rather than heavily saturated. Of course, you'd need to saturate it a bit, but not to the point where you're flying over Legoland!

I think I've got it quite realistic now. Just look at this photo:

Here's what I mean:

Image Image

I edited the picture by adding about +10 saturation, and altering the levels. This still keeps that realistic look of the BlueSphere textures, though without being too washed out, and without being too colourful like the others. If it's possible to just alter the levels and slightly saturate the textures, that would be good..

Umm...you would have to edit thousands of textures for that.

I think its a great improvement. For all everyones tweaking and FSGS improvements people seem to have forgotten that grass is green. Not grey. :)

Sorry, but it simply upsets me if someone only looks at the pics and doesn't read the written parts.
